What's Next for Small Business Healthcare
Please join the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Majority for an informative conversation on what's next for small business healthcare.
Currently the national leadership's plans to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as “Obamacare”, are still a work in progress, however, many small business owners are wondering about the future of their healthcare options.
As the U.S. Senate continues to work on the Better Care Reconciliation Act, the Republican plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (also known as “Obamacare”), many small businesses are wondering about the future of their healthcare.
While the Senate is currently debating a replacement plan, the ACA continues to be the law of the land, and we’ll explain what that means for Colorado's small businesses in this presentation. We’ll also provide an overview of the ACA’s federal and state provisions to help local small business owners understand how the healthcare law affects them.
Our panel discussion will focus on:
- An overview of the healthcare law
- What’s next for healthcare reform
- Small business tax credits (available to businesses and tax-exempt non-profits), who’s eligible for them and how to claim them
- Cost containment and other consumer protections
- Tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law
A question and answer period will follow the discussion.
