COVID-19 has shown the great need for paid sick days in keeping our workforce healthy and preventing disease transmission. However, many small business owners struggle with the financial burden of offering such time to their employees. This is why Colorado legislators have put forth Senate Bill 205, to address this gap.
Join Small Business Majority and Good Business Colorado for a virtual discussion in which policy experts from the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) will provide non-partisan policy analysis to help small businesses understand what this legislation would mean for their businesses. They will also discuss the national landscape of how state governments are currently approaching paid sick days in response to the pandemic and to address other unmet needs in employee health and wellness.
